The San Miguel Playhouse is a registered nonprofit A.C. (asociación civil) in Mexico, and a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States. In the U.S., the Playhouse is registered as The Newell Institute for Bilingual Theater, in honor of James Newell, our late founder. Donations to Newell Institute in U.S. dollars go 100 percent to the Playhouse, and tax receipts can be provided to the donor. Direct donations to the Playhouse in pesos are received more rapidly, but no tax receipt can be provided for those.

Option 1: Donate to the Newell Institute in USD with a PayPal account. With this option, the charity will receive 100 percent of your donation, with no fee deducted. A tax receipt can be provided.

Option 2: Donate to the Newell Institute in USD with a credit or debit card. With this option, the charity will receive roughly 98 percent of your donation. A tax receipt can be provided.

Option 3: Donate to the San Miguel Playhouse in MXN pesos, with or without a PayPal account. Fees will be deducted and no tax receipt can be provided for this option, but the donation will be received without delay.
